Firefox Reaches 21 Million
Mozilla Firefox 1.0 has seen a 21 million download since 9 November when it was released.
Since then it has garnered more than 7% market share at the expense of Microsofts Internet Explorer which has for the first time seen its market share dip below the crucial 90% mark since 2001.
Firefox has mainly gathered momentum due to increasing security concerns from Microsoft Internet Explorer, which seems to be exposed of a new security threat every week. Firefox till date has had just one security flaw till date which has been rated at 2/5 which is nothing compared to number of IEs threats that have been reported of Crutical Nature. It is safe from those hack you seem to get when u visit sites like ur homepage or search settings being changed without your knowledge.
Firefox has much better speeds than Internet Explorer and a much more ceaner clutter free look. It has even customisable themes which IE dosent have.
